In an evening's recital the dancer goes through a series of traditional expositions, each demanding a high degree of technical skill and control. What is striking is the beautiful rendering of slow and subtle movements sometimes so slight that, unless keenly observed, they are missed, alternately, the execution of amazingly fast and vigorous footwork and pirouettes. This is the quietude and harmony of movement on the other.
